The Games That Satisfy My Xbox 360 Fix

By Brian Kent

Amazingly, it's now been a whole three years since I purchased my Xbox 360 unit. I went a while without it thanks to the dreaded red ring of death, but that's another story that I'll save for another day. For now, we're going to focus on the good, which is the games. These have nothing to do with the hardware maker so I hold no grudges!

5- Tiger Woods golf. I've always been a huge fan of this series, dating back to my high school days when the game had first come out on the Playstation system. This is as real as it gets as far as golf games go, and amazingly, the game seems to improve each time they release a new version. I love it.

4. John Madden '10. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the Madden series and beginning with last year's game, EA Sports finally got it right. Madden is awesome, and Madden '10 is naturally better than those versions from years past, so Madden '10 gets my #4 vote as far as best Xbox 360 games ever go.

3. NHL 2K series. I absolutely love hockey, and I've been playing hockey on video game consoles ever since my elementary school days on the Sega Genesis. The fast-paced action of hockey games have always drawn me in, and the improved graphics and game play with each year keep me buying each new version every time it comes out.

2- NBA 2K9. I'm a big basketball fan, and this game is the best basketball game I've ever played. I know that some people like the Live series more than the 2k series, but I've always been a 2k guy myself. The game play is realistic, and the online mode is simply fantastic. High marks from me.

1. Rock Band. I bought this last year, and I still can't put it down. This game has constantly kept me on edge, and my friends come over all the time to play it. I've stayed up way too many nights past 4 in the morning playing this game. The Beatles version just came out, and as much as I want it, I'm just not sure that's such a good idea.
