The Best Thriller Horror Movie

By Pedro Guerreiro

Horror films without a question are entertaining and thrilling to watch; fans have unfulfilled hunger to watch more and more. Many say is the adrillin rush and excitement they feel when watching such a high level of horror movies. Every now and then there are certain upcoming horror movies elicit uncommon levels of anticipation and excitement.

Final Destination 4

Final destination 4 is a continues serials of 3. On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him.

When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning.

As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination.

Across the Hall

Across the hall is a thriller about a standoff between a young man, his fiance and his best friend who comes to his aide. I was completely caught off guard by this film. It has a great classic film/noir feel to it which is far too uncommon these days. That it was clearly accomplished on a smaller than Hollywood budget is all the more impressive.

The pacing is steady and deliberate which may throw some viewers off, but there is so much texture and richness to each scene that you have the opportunity to really take it all in and feel/experience the mood and atmosphere, unlike most movies in this genre (think Mad Men, one of the best shows on TV, in this respect).

The acting, cinematography, music, lighting and direction are across the board very impressive. I started watching thinking I would only sit through about 20 mins or so, but I was totally compelled to watch the entire thing (twice actually!) and found myself incredibly engaged.

Conclusion

Is always exciting to watch new horror movie is like getting on a roller coaster ride that you crave for. Every year there is new movies that will have you at the edge of your seat and making you guess what the next move will be. So stay tuned and have fun getting scared.
