No Holds Barred: For those who couldn't get enough of Hulk Hogan, he appears here as a Television fighting megastar who should guard himself after declining a selfish businessman's offer to switch networks. Cast includes Hulk Hogan, Joan Severance, Kurt Fuller, Small Lister, Mark Pellegrino, Jesse Ventura, and Bill Henderson. (91 minutes, 1989)
Factory Girl: Dismal, real tale of 1960s socialite Edie Sedgwick Miller and her self-damaging corkscrew into depravity and medication dependency after becoming one of Andy Warhol's underground-film "megastars." Christensen plays a renowned musician who looks, acts, and noises suspiciously like Bob Dylan, with whom she has a stormy event. Writer-director David co-created Seinfeld, which clarifies both the excellent and the poor stuff here. Musician David Crosby and an unrecognizable Glenn Close have tad parts as pirates. If this is Peter Pan for the '90s, gave us the '50s as an alternative.
