The Barretts of Wimpole Street: Handsome, well-performed, and most amusing MGM production of classic romance between Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning in 19thcentury England. Ed Wood: An admiring check out Edward D. Wood, Jr., a guy of endless excitement and no ability who made some of the poorest films of all time containing Glen or Glenda and Plan Nine Outer Space. There isn't much tale shove here, although the lucid re-creation of time and place makes this a must for some old movie buff. Cast includes Johnny Depp, Martin Landau, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patricia Arquette, Jeffrey Jones, and Mike Starr. (124 minutes, 1994)

Here is a funky, incredibly amusing comedy. John Waters and early David Lynch can seriously go for this. Additionally accessible in unrated rendition.
