Rock on with Guitar Hero: Metallica

By Crystal Jennings

Metallica is truly one of the legendary metal-rock bands in the world. They have shared with us their heart and soul through their music. They have been absent for several years in the limelight but now they are doing their comeback through Guitar Hero: Metallica.

Guitar Hero: Metallica has received a lot of praise since it was released. It also has been said that this is the best among the Guitar Hero series. This just means that Neversoft got it right in all the right places.

Metallica has picked the songs that were included in the game so it is truly 100% Metallica. We enjoy listening to their songs but we will appreciate more their music when we get to play them. This time we will know how it feels to be a member of the band.

An even harder mode is added which is the 'Expert+' mode. This requires you to add a second drum pedal and feel what really is like to be a Metallica member. So make sure that you bring your game face on because it sure will be a long night.

The difficulty of the game is much harder as compared to other Guitar Hero games. This will truly challenge a hardcore player. To make the game even more interesting, an 'Expert+' mode for the drummers that is the most difficult part of the game. This will require the player to add another drum pedal but this will not be tracked in an online game.

Additional items such as a drum pedal and splitter is available in pre-order items. Even if the game allows the player to play lead and bass guitar it does not allow lead and rhythm guitar which may come as a weakness for this game and may be noticed by hardcore Metallica fans. But all-in-all this is the best thing you can get as a Metallica fan.
